      What thickness of stainless steel can K-TIG fully penetrate?

      The K-TIG Welding System is capable of creating a keyhole weld in stainless steel up to 12 mm | 0.472 ". Thicker materials require a Y preparation (or similar) to create a landing for the keyhole root pass.
