      What backing gas does the K-TIG Welding System require?

      Your choice of backing gas will depend on the application.

      The choice of backing gas or purging gas is relative to the application.  For example, most stainless-steel applications will require 100% Argon to be used, however duplex stainless steels can also use 100% nitrogen.
